Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have chest pain or a recent heart attack (more than 7 days ago) and need a stent or balloon procedure.
  • Your doctor says you need a special laser tool to treat a very hard or calcified blockage.
  • You do not have severe heart failure, recent stroke, active cancer, or bleeding problems.
  • You are not pregnant and will not become pregnant during the study.
