Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 18 or older with advanced prostate cancer that has spread (metastatic), stopped responding to hormone therapy, and is now castration-resistant.
  • Your cancer has gotten worse despite treatment with at least one hormone-blocking drug like enzalutamide or abiraterone, and you are eligible for either 177Lu-PSMA-617 or docetaxel chemotherapy.
  • You have not had prior chemotherapy with drugs like docetaxel or cabazitaxel for any stage of prostate cancer.
  • You have adequate blood counts (white cells, platelets, red cells), kidney function, and liver function as shown by recent blood tests.
  • You do not have serious heart problems, uncontrolled infections, or other major medical conditions that would make the trial unsafe.
