Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Tourette syndrome by a doctor using standard criteria.
  • Your tics (motor or vocal) are at least moderate in severity as measured by a standard tic rating scale.
  • If you take medication for tics or other conditions, your doses have not changed in the past 3 months.
  • You are medically stable regarding any other psychiatric conditions.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants, pacemaker, or claustrophobia).
