Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 60 years old.
  • You have had one-sided knee pain and a cracking or grinding sound for at least 6 months.
  • You have knee osteoarthritis grade 2 or higher on an X-ray.
  • You have not had a corticosteroid injection or pain shot in your hip or knee in the last 3 months.
  • You have not taken oral corticosteroids in the last month.
  • You have not had knee or hip surgery in the last 3 months, and you do not have other muscle or nerve conditions affecting your leg.
