Resistance training survey for people on weight loss meds
Part of Brain & nervous system, Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.
This trial is an online survey to understand how people taking GLP-1 medications (like Ozempic or Wegovy) are doing with resistance training. If you're an adult on a stable dose of a GLP-1 med for weight or diabetes, your input can help shape better exercise advice.

This study looks at whether a guided strength-training app can help women in their 40s and 50s who are starting a GLP-1 medication (like Ozempic or Wegovy) build muscle and stay healthy. You'd follow a home-based workout plan for 12 weeks and attend a few in-person visits.
This study tests whether a 12-week program of exercise and personalized nutrition counseling can help obese adults maintain muscle and bone while taking GLP-1 medications (drugs that help with weight loss). GLP-1 drugs can sometimes cause muscle loss, so this trial explores whether targeted exercise and nutrition can prevent that.
This study looks at how GLP-1 medications (like Ozempic or Wegovy) combined with behavioral coaching through Noom affect weight loss and metabolic health over 12 months. You may qualify if you're interested in weight loss and willing to commit to a program for a year.
This study tests whether adding resistance exercise to a new weight-loss medication helps women preserve muscle while losing weight. It may be an option for women who want to protect their muscle mass during treatment.
This study tests whether a GLP-1 medication (like Ozempic) can help people with obesity who are having hip or knee replacement surgery. It aims to see if the medication improves recovery and outcomes.
This study tests whether strength training can help adults taking new obesity medications (like Wegovy or Ozempic) maintain muscle and improve mental health. You would start the medication after your first study visit.
