Who can take part

  • You have a disorder of consciousness (like coma or minimally conscious state) confirmed by a doctor.
  • You are in the early stages of recovery and are medically stable.
  • You are currently getting medical care at a hospital.
  • You do not have a spinal cord injury, severe arthritis, or uncontrolled heart problems.
  • You have no permanent stiffness in your hips, knees, or ankles and can safely use the robotic walking device.
