Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, confirmed by a sleep study, with an apnea-hypopnea index between 15 and 100.
  • You have tried a CPAP machine but it didn't work, you couldn't tolerate it, or you chose to stop using it.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or lower.
  • You do not have certain other sleep apnea types, nerve conditions, severe heart or lung disease, or an implanted device that might interfere.
