Who can take part

  • You are older than 50 years old
  • You have a pacemaker or defibrillator with a wire inside the heart (atrial lead)
  • Your device has detected at least one episode of atrial fibrillation lasting 1 minute or more in the last year
  • You have not had atrial fibrillation seen on a standard heart tracing (ECG) before
  • You have not taken blood thinners or two antiplatelet medicines together in the last 6 months
