VisionWay Accessibility study for people with vision loss

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your vision must be worse than 20/200, meaning severe vision loss or total blindness.
  • You cannot have a condition that makes it unsafe to walk, like a nerve or muscle disorder, recent surgery, balance problems, or a fall in the last 6 months.
  • You cannot use a walker or a wheelchair.
  • You may use no mobility aid, or use a cane, or use a guide dog (the study has groups for each).
