Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have advanced lung cancer (that has spread or come back) with a specific EGFR mutation (exon 19 deletion or L858R).
  • You have not had any cancer treatment for advanced disease before (though prior early-stage treatment more than 6 months ago is okay).
  • You are healthy enough to be up and about (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You do not have certain other lung cancer types, brain symptoms, or uncontrolled fluid buildup.
