Who can take part
- You had planned or urgent heart surgery at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust between 2013 and 2025 (except during 2020-2021).
- A heart-lung machine (cardiopulmonary bypass) was used during your surgery.
- Your surgery was not an emergency.
- You did not need dialysis before surgery.
- Your kidney function (eGFR) before surgery was 20 or higher.
- You have not opted out of research use of your data.
