Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled for minimally invasive lung surgery to remove a small nodule (wedge or segment removal).
  • You have a lung nodule no larger than 2 cm that is close to the outer edge of the lung (within 2 cm of the lining), confirmed by CT scan.
  • You are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health conditions (ASA class I to III).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can give informed consent.
