Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 65 years old.
  • You are in good health or have only mild health problems (ASA I or II).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30.
  • You are scheduled for planned (not emergency) laparoscopic upper abdominal surgery.
  • You do not have allergies to the medicines used in the blocks.
  • You do not have bleeding problems or take blood thinners.
