Who can take part

  • You have lupus (SLE) and a kidney biopsy confirmed a type called pure membranous lupus nephritis within the last year.
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a high level of protein in your urine (nephrotic range) or it remains above a certain level despite standard treatments.
  • You have not used certain medications recently, like rituximab in the past 6 months or other immune-suppressing drugs in the past 2 months.
  • Your kidneys are working well enough (eGFR above 30) and not too scarred.
  • You agree to use effective contraception if you could become pregnant.
