Who can take part

  • You are age 14–17 or an adult
  • You have active lupus nephritis confirmed by a recent kidney biopsy (within 8 weeks)
  • Your urine protein level is high (urine protein-to-creatinine ratio 0.5 or higher) in the last 14 days
  • Your medical team says you can safely receive IV steroid, mycophenolate, oral steroid, or obinutuzumab
  • You must be able to make your own health decisions (or have a legal guardian) and agree to contraception if using mycophenolate
