LUPKYNIS Combined With Immune-Targeting Drugs for Lupus Kidney Disease

Who can take part

  • Be 18–75 years old
  • Have biopsy-proven lupus nephritis (kidney inflammation from lupus) of certain types
  • Have moderate protein in urine (0.5–5.0 g/g) measured from morning urine
  • Have kidney function that is not too severely damaged (eGFR ≥45)
  • Be willing to take mycophenolic acid (an immunosuppressant) and corticosteroids (like prednisone)
  • Be on or starting one of three biologic drugs: belimumab, obinutuzumab, or anifrolumab
