Who can take part

  • You must be 65 years of age or older.
  • You need to have either early-stage Alzheimer's (mild memory loss) or be cognitively healthy with no memory problems.
  • You cannot have serious heart conditions, like heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a recent stroke.
  • You should not have a history of serious mental health issues like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or active suicidal thoughts.
  • You must be willing to avoid certain antidepressants and sleep medications before the study, or be able to stop them with your doctor's help.
