Who can take part
- Has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), a rare and severe type of epilepsy
- Has had seizures within the last 6 months and at least 4 counted seizures during the 5-week run-in period
- Currently takes 1 to 3 anti-seizure medications on a steady dose for at least 4 weeks
- Has a caregiver who can help and fill out a daily seizure diary
- Is not currently using cannabis products (or willing to stop for a month before the study)
- Has not had harmful side effects from CBD medicine (Epidiolex) in the past
