Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease (ILD) by a specialist and a special CT scan of your lungs.
  • You are having new or worsening shortness of breath, low oxygen levels, chest pain, fainting, or your doctor suspects a blood clot in your lungs.
  • You are already scheduled to have a CT angiogram (CTPA) as part of your regular care.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have active cancer, a known clotting disorder, or recent heart attack, stroke, major surgery, or trauma.
  • Your kidneys are working well enough to receive the contrast dye used for the CT scan.
