Who can take part

  • You have had a heart attack in the past, confirmed by your doctor.
  • You are ready to start a supervised, inpatient cardiac rehab program.
  • You are in a stable condition and can safely do exercise-based rehab.
  • You have mild or no symptoms of heart failure (NYHA class I or II).
  • You can exercise at a moderate level (at least 5 metabolic equivalents on a stress test).
  • You are able to understand the study and give your written consent.
