  • You must be 18 or older and have type 2 diabetes.
  • You must have had blood tests done by a doctor within the past month.
  • You must not be taking any antioxidant or vitamin/mineral supplements.
  • You must not be on special diets like keto or intermittent fasting.
  • You must not have another active infection or serious illness like kidney or liver failure, cancer, or be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You must be able to communicate and participate voluntarily.
