  • You are between 18 and 50 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with mild to moderate fatty liver (grade 1 or 2 on ultrasound)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 34.9
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy in the next three months
  • You do not have other liver diseases, diabetes, or serious health conditions
  • You are not taking certain medications like metformin, methotrexate, or folate supplements
