Who can take part

  • You must be diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) or metabolic fatty liver disease (MAFLD), confirmed by ultrasound, MRI, or biopsy.
  • You must be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Your condition must have been stable for at least 3 months.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have other liver diseases like hepatitis.
  • You cannot be taking certain medications like blood thinners, steroids, metformin, insulin, or specific supplements like vitamin E or omega-3s.
  • You must not have a pacemaker, other implanted heart device, or have had weight-loss surgery.
