Who can take part

  • Be in grades 1 through 4 at a participating school
  • Have good distance vision without glasses (not nearsighted)
  • Have a specific amount of 'eye reserve' (farsightedness) based on age, measured by an eye exam with dilating drops
  • Parent or guardian must sign a consent form, and the child must agree to participate
  • Not have any eye conditions like crossed eyes (strabismus) or lazy eye (amblyopia), and no other health issues that could interfere
  • Not have used any myopia prevention treatments (like special eye drops or glasses) in the past 3 months
