Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of primary myelofibrosis or myelofibrosis that developed from essential thrombocythemia or polycythemia vera
- Have intermediate-1 to high-risk disease and either have not used JAK inhibitors (or used them for less than 14 days) or be resistant to them
- Have an enlarged spleen (palpable at least 5 cm below ribs or confirmed by MRI/CT to be ≥450 cm³)
- Have at least 2 myelofibrosis symptoms with a score of 3 or more, or a total symptom score of 10 or more over a week
- Have adequate blood counts (platelets ≥50,000/mm³, ANC ≥1,000/mm³, hemoglobin >60 g/L) and no need for growth factors or transfusions
- Not plan to have a stem cell transplant within the next 6 months
- Have relatively preserved organ function (heart, liver, kidneys) and no severe bleeding disorders
