- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have a large (over 20 mm) non-pedunculated (flat or broad-based) polyp in the colon or rectum.
- Your doctor has determined that the polyp cannot be removed in one piece using a standard snare (endoscopic mucosal resection).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder that would make the procedure unsafe (for example, very low platelets or high INR).
- The polyp is not a recurrence from a previous removal attempt.
