Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with POTS, which means your heart rate goes up by at least 30 beats per minute when you stand up, and you don't have other causes for this.
  • You have symptoms like dizziness, heart racing, or stomach issues that have lasted for at least 3 months.
  • Your symptoms started within 3 months of a known trigger, such as an infection, vaccine, injury, surgery, pregnancy, or puberty.
  • You have either had a positive response to certain allergy medications or mast cell stabilizers, or you have symptoms like flushing, itching, hives, or swelling.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not taking medications that must be continued and could interfere with the study.
