Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with bile duct cancer or gallbladder cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You have not had chemotherapy for this stage of cancer before.
  • You are generally able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • Your organ function (kidney, liver, blood counts) is within acceptable limits.
  • You do not have certain active infections or immune system disorders.
