Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your BMI is 28 or higher, or your BMI is 24 to 28 with at least one weight-related health condition like high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
  • Your weight has been stable (not changed by more than 5%) for 3 months before the study.
  • You have tried to lose weight through diet but were not successful.
  • If you have type 2 diabetes, your HbA1c (a blood sugar measure) must be between 6.5% and under 10% at screening.
