- You have a herniated disc or narrowing in your lower back (lumbar disc herniation or spinal stenosis).
- You have had an MRI of your lower back.
- You do not have allergies, asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), or long-term sinusitis.
- You have not had cancer, a recent fracture, or severe bone thinning (osteoporosis).
- You do not have knee or hip arthritis, and no recent spinal surgery in the last 6 months.
- You do not have a history of heart attack, heart failure, or liver cirrhosis.
