Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Tenon Hospital
  • Be unable to speak or communicate verbally for at least 48 hours (e.g., due to intubation or a speech disorder)
  • Be awake and able to understand and answer questions (not deeply sedated or confused)
  • Be able to use your dominant arm and hand to write or point
