Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must have one of these conditions: pulmonary arterial hypertension, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, or COPD (with or without emphysema).
  • Your oxygen level must drop by more than 3% during exercise (this is tested in a clinic).
  • Your lung medications must have been stable for at least 14 days before starting.
  • You must not need supplemental oxygen at rest (your resting oxygen level must not be severely low).
