Who can take part
- Your child must be between the ages of 6 and 12 and in elementary school.
- Your child should either have a diagnosed math learning disability (scoring below the 20th percentile on math tests) or be a typically developing child (scoring at or above the 50th percentile on math tests).
- Your child must have an IQ score above 70.
- Your child must have normal or corrected vision and hearing.
- Your child must be right-handed to participate in the brain imaging part of the study.
- Your child must have no history of neurological or psychiatric disorders (such as schizophrenia, depression, or ADHD), no head trauma, and no metal implants or braces that would make an MRI unsafe.
