Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with brucellosis, which often causes fever, sweating, joint pain, and fatigue.
  • You also have inflammation in your spine or the joints where the spine meets the pelvis (called sacroiliitis).
  • You have not had tuberculosis, serious heart or lung problems, advanced cancer, or certain nervous system conditions.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant soon.
  • You have not used certain medications (like steroids or anti-tuberculosis drugs) in the last 3 months.
