Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have been told by a doctor that you have high blood pressure, or have had high blood pressure readings.
- Your high blood pressure must have been diagnosed or treated in the last 18 months.
- You must have been a member of Kaiser Permanente with continuous health coverage for at least 6 months before the study starts.
- You cannot have certain other causes of high blood pressure like from drugs, alcohol, or kidney artery disease.
- You cannot have had weight-loss surgery or used a GLP-1 medicine in the last year.
- You cannot have severe kidney disease (eGFR below 45) or be on dialysis, or have had a kidney transplant.
