Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related health issue like high blood pressure or sleep apnea.
  • Your weight must be stable for the past 3 months (no big changes).
  • You have tried to lose weight before, but it didn't work.
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and you are not taking medication for diabetes.
