Who can take part

  • Outward eye deviation (exotropia) greater than 50 prism diopters
  • No previous squint (strabismus) surgery
  • No severe ocular surface disease (e.g., severe dry eye, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid)
  • No severe systemic illness that prevents general anesthesia
