Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have a severe traumatic brain injury with a Glasgow Coma Scale score between 3 and 8.
- You must have increased pressure inside the skull, as measured by an ultrasound.
- Treatment must start within 24 hours of the injury.
- You must not have a penetrating head injury, active eye conditions, severe kidney failure requiring dialysis, or be pregnant.
