Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older).
  • You have low back pain from worn discs in one or two parts of your lower spine.
  • Your doctor has said you need surgery because other treatments like physical therapy or medicines did not help.
  • You agree to join the study and sign a consent form after reading it.
  • You are not allergic to the implant materials and do not have an infection at the surgery site.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have a specific type of spine problem called spondylolisthesis with a break in the bone.
