Nemtabrutinib for CLL or SLL after other treatments
Treatments studied
Part of Blood & lymphatic, Cancer, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.
This study tests a new oral medication, nemtabrutinib, in people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) that did not respond to or stopped responding to certain targeted therapies. The medication aims to control the disease when other options have not worked.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with CLL or SLL and your disease has gotten worse or not improved after treatment.
- You have already taken a Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor (such as ibrutinib, acalabrutinib, or pirtobrutinib) and a BCL2 inhibitor (such as venetoclax).
- You are 18 years or older and can take oral medication.
- You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG performance status 0-2).

This trial tests a new drug, nemtabrutinib, against two standard treatments for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who haven't had treatment yet. The goal is to see if the new drug works better at controlling the disease.
This clinical trial tests two oral medications, nemtabrutinib and venetoclax, given together to people with untreated CLL or SLL. The goal is to see if this combination effectively kills cancer cells and helps you stay in remission with manageable side effects.
This trial tests a new drug called pirtobrutinib for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). It is for those whose cancer has come back or not responded to treatment, including a prior BTK inhibitor, and also for those who have never been treated but have a specific genetic change (17p deletion).
This trial tests a combination of three drugs—nemtabrutinib, venetoclax, and obinutuzumab—for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The goal is to see if this combination is safe and effective in treating the disease.
This trial tests a combination of two drugs, pirtobrutinib (a pill) and obinutuzumab (an infusion), given for a set period of time in people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who have not had any previous treatment for their disease. The goal is to see if this combination can control the cancer effectively.
This trial tests whether NX-5948 is more effective than pirtobrutinib for people with CLL or SLL whose disease has gotten worse after an earlier BTK inhibitor treatment. It aims to find a better option for those who have already tried one type of therapy.
