Radiation therapy with or without chemotherapy for head and neck cancer

Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of head and neck cancer in the larynx, hypopharynx, or oropharynx.
  • Your cancer must be at a specific stage (T1-2 with lymph node involvement, or T3 with no distant spread).
  • You must be able to start radiation therapy within 6 weeks of joining the trial.
  • You must have adequate blood counts, liver function, and kidney function.
  • You must be 18 years or older and have a good performance status (ECOG 0-1).
  • If you are of childbearing age, you must agree to use effective contraception during and for 6 months after treatment.
