Real-world study of breast cancer treatments
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This study looks at how well a combination of two medicines (a CDK4/6 inhibitor and an aromatase inhibitor) works for people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer. It aims to gather real-world information to better understand treatment patterns and outcomes.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.

- You are about to start or have just started your first treatment for advanced disease with a CDK4/6 inhibitor and an aromatase inhibitor
- You have not had any other systemic treatment for advanced breast cancer before this one

This study looks at how well CDK4/6 inhibitors (a type of targeted therapy) work in real-world patients with HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. By collecting medical data from people treated at this hospital, doctors hope to learn more about the effectiveness and safety of these drugs in everyday practice.
This study looks at how well a type of targeted therapy (called CDK4/6 inhibitors) combined with hormone therapy works as the first treatment for advanced breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative. Researchers want to find patterns that could help predict which patients benefit most.
This study looks at how well CDK4/6 inhibitors combined with hormone therapy work in real-world settings for people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer (HR+/HER2-). It aims to understand the best treatment path and what happens next.
This trial tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help doctors decide if it is safe and effective to give you a second course of a CDK4/6 inhibitor drug (like palbociclib, ribociclib, or abemaciclib) plus hormone therapy for advanced (unresectable or metastatic) HR+/HER2- breast cancer. The goal is to only treat people whose cancer is likely to respond based on a special AI analysis of their tumor tissue.
This trial tests a new medicine (BGB-43395) combined with letrozole against the usual CDK4/6 inhibitor plus letrozole. It is for people with advanced or metastatic HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer who have not yet had treatment for advanced disease.
This Phase 2 study uses a specialized laser test on a blood sample to predict how well palbociclib plus letrozole or anastrozole will work. It’s for certain postmenopausal women with HER2-negative, hormone-receptor positive, advanced (stage IIIb/IV) breast cancer.
