Automatic ankle blood pressure test for leg artery disease

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)Ankle Brachial IndexDiagnostic AccuracyFeasibility Studies

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study tests a new automated way to measure the blood pressure in your ankles, which helps doctors check for narrowed leg arteries. It is a pilot study, meaning it looks at whether this automatic method works well and is comfortable, which could make testing easier in the future.

Blood test study for severe leg artery disease

This study looks at a protein on immune cells in the blood of people with advanced peripheral artery disease (narrowed leg arteries). It is a first step toward testing a new class of drugs (GLP-1 receptor agonists) to help people with severe leg circulation problems.

Using a special camera to check leg circulation

This study tests a special camera (SnapshotNIR) that takes pictures of blood flow in your legs while you move them into different positions. It may help doctors better understand your circulation and diagnose peripheral artery disease (PAD) without needles or dye.

Measuring foot oxygen levels to evaluate blood flow problems

This trial tests a new imaging device that measures oxygen levels in foot tissue to help evaluate peripheral artery disease (PAD). It could help doctors better assess blood flow problems without invasive tests.

NCT06410521Recruiting
Personalized exercise program for peripheral arterial disease

This trial tests a personalized exercise program for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a condition that causes leg pain when walking. The goal is to see if a tailored exercise plan can help reduce pain, improve walking distance, and boost quality of life.

Testing a magnetic sensor for artery blood flow

This study tests a new magnetic sensor that measures blood flow in your arteries, comparing it to the standard method. It takes place in the heart-lung unit at Montpellier University Hospital, and aims to see if the sensor is accurate for people with or without leg artery disease.
