This study compares a new gout medicine called dotinurad to the common medicine allopurinol. It is for people who have had gout for at least a year, have had at least 2 gout attacks in the last year, and are already taking a stable dose of allopurinol but still have high uric acid levels.

Testing Dotinurad for Gout in People Who Can't Take Other Medications
This trial tests a new drug called dotinurad for gout patients whose standard medications either don't work or cause side effects. Dotinurad works differently by helping your body get rid of uric acid (the substance that causes gout attacks), and the study will see if it safely lowers uric acid levels.

Study of PRX-115 for gout with or without methotrexate
This trial tests a new medicine, PRX-115, given through a vein, to see if it lowers uric acid levels in people with gout who haven't had success with standard treatments. Some participants will also take methotrexate, and the results are compared to a placebo (a dummy infusion).
