FGF-1 protein injection for chronic chest pain

Who can take part

  • You need to have had stable chest pain (angina) for at least 3 months.
  • Your angina must be severe (CCS class 3 or 4) despite being on at least one heart medication (like a beta-blocker or nitrate).
  • Your doctor must have said that a stent or bypass surgery is not a good option for you.
  • Your heart function (ejection fraction) must be at least 30% – your doctor can check this.
  • You must be able to walk on a treadmill for 3–9 minutes (on a standard test).
  • You cannot have certain eye problems, uncontrolled diabetes, or a history of cancer (except some skin cancers).
