Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have chest pain (angina) that doesn't improve with medication and you can't have stents or bypass surgery.
  • You have had a stress test or heart imaging showing that part of your heart has reversible low blood flow.
  • You have not had a heart attack or stroke in the last 60 days.
  • Your heart function is not severely weak (ejection fraction above 25%) and you don't have severe heart failure.
