Who can take part

  • You must be age 18 or older
  • You must be a parent of an approved study participant or a spouse of a WRAP participant (or be an approved prior study participant/donor by case review)
  • You must be able to consent for donation, or have an activated legal permission person (POA for Healthcare or Research) or a suitable legal guardian
  • Your health history must not include certain infections or brain-related conditions that could limit safe research use
  • There must be a timely brain recovery window after death (expected time under 16 hours for people not already connected to ADRC/WRAP)
  • Donation paperwork and medical history must be complete before recovery can start
