Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older
  • Your melanoma has the BRAF V600E gene change confirmed by pathology (biopsy)
  • Your cancer is stage IIIC or stage IV, and you have at least one visible target tumor on scans
  • Your overall functioning is fairly good (ECOG 0 to 2) and you have at least 3 months expected life span
  • Recent bloodwork shows your bone marrow, kidneys, and liver are strong enough for treatment
  • You can confirm you won’t be pregnant during the study (and for a few months after), using approved birth-control methods
