Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You weigh at least 110 pounds but less than 368 pounds, and your body weight is under 175% of the ideal for your height.
  • You have a diagnosis of idiopathic CD4 lymphocytopenia (low CD4 cells) or a similar immune problem, or you are a healthy volunteer.
  • Your blood counts (like hemoglobin) meet minimum levels as determined by tests.
  • You are willing to have blood samples stored for future research and to undergo genetic testing.
  • You can commit to follow-up visits and agree to use birth control during the study if you are able to have children.
