Who can take part

  • You’re between age 4 and 69, and you weigh at least 12 kg (about 26 lb).
  • You have an inherited immune problem (a known genetic cause or a typical history of immune problems like repeated infections or immune over-activity).
  • A suitable donor is available: a closely matched family donor, matched unrelated donor, or a “half-match” related donor.
  • Your heart, lung, liver, and kidney health are strong enough for transplant treatment.
  • You (or your parent/guardian for children) can understand and sign consent, and children can agree (assent).
  • You can travel to and stay near the NIH for at least 100 days after transplant, with an adult caregiver if needed early on.
